Good while they last, and worth buying again.

Overall I am really impressed with these boots. Widest toe box I've ever had in a steel toe; my toes aren't squished. Someone else might not like the space if their foot slides side to side. I have found them decently comfortable, but not the longest lasting boot I've every had. I have had mine almost two years and it is probably 6 months to a year too long; I fixed them with glue. So not the most durable boot, but I like the fit and I wear them all day and I am planning to buy another pair and a pair of their winter boots too; honestly the fit just makes it for me - A+. Definitely a solid good buy if you get them at the sale price if you buy them the right day(s) of the year. At full price you are starting to get into better-boot-territory. If you have really big and wide feet then I say a must-try. I found these when I was shopping Redwings, but the Redwing boot toe boxes were so narrow I just couldn't do it.

    Seems like a rugged boot

I can't attest to the longevity of this boot having just recently acquiring it. They are on the heavy side but I believe that appears to be more due to the seemingly rugged vibram sole rather than the toe. So potentially be prepared for leg fatigue while getting used to them. So far the one glaring flaw is that there's no pull loop on the back. Even if they had put a fabric one on the back, it would have been better than the current nothingburger. I knew this before buying them. The waterproofing appears to be top notch. There is some breaking in still to be done as I'm not wearing them everyday. I'm gradually working them in but they are far from the worst boot that I've ever encountered for this. The first time I wore them, I went out shoveling snow for 2 hours. I came back in and my feet were fine. They were warm the whole time shoveling. I don't think they will be excruciating for anyone trying to break in this boot. There might be some minor growing pains as they also aren't "right out of the box magic" for your feet. The toe box is nice and more spacious compared to similar models of different branded boots . They run a little big. If you're one of those people where you buy a 9. 5 because you're a true 9 to make it work for a little more comfort and space, a 9 will likely be fine since they're a little longer and have the wider toe box. They are surprisingly warm for not being equipped with insulation. They might not be great for outdoor summer work for a lot of people as they run warmer than expected. If you have a foot sweat problem, and you work outdoors in the summer, you'll likely have to have a different summer pair. Like one commenter said, your feet may even be too warm indoors with these. Not sure though as the foot hotness indoors has only been mild-moderate for me as long as I don't wear thick socks. It also depends on your movement. If you have a job where you have to to put in 20,000 to 30,000 steps in these indoors, they may not be for you.

    Heavy Duty

Definitely a heavy duty boot. Great for working outdoors, even in the winter. Not good for anything indoors because they run hot.

Not for CNC or ANY oil

Working in CNC, stepping on floors covered coolant 1/8" deep at the most, oil and water soaking right through the melting rubber soles, never see anything like it. Purchase because of tectuff to protect from dripping. Also the most slippery boot i have ever worn. Not impress, only three weeks and now need to buy new boots. NOT OIL RESISTENT NOT EVEN A LITTLE.
